The WatchGameFilm Gym Camera is a 120 degree wide lens camera that automatically records and uploads your practices and games at 1920 x 1080 10 Mbps resolution giving you excellent quality. Your raw footage is then analyzed through our ai service, providing a close-up angle that tracks the ball.

Simply set your recording times and forget it. The WatchGameFilm Gym Camera will manage all film processing thereafter, allowing you to spend your time on more important things. All this at a fraction of the cost of similar ai cameras.

How does the Camera Work?

  • Administrators or coaches configure camera recording times thru their WGF team
  • Multiple teams (Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, etc.) are able to configure the camera for their events
  • When an event starts, the Gym Camera's 120 degree wide angle lens captures video of the complete court
  • The raw HD Quality 1920 x 1080 10 Mbps video is uploaded and posted to the appropriate WGF team
  • WGF film viewing is instantly available after upload (no encoding needed)
  • A 2nd enhanced ball-tracking film is created within a few hours after your raw footage is posted
  • Each recording will generate 2 films (raw original and enhanced ball-tracking)

Where does the Camera mount?

  • The Gym Camera should be set up in a spot that captures the complete court. Usually the best spot is mid-court.
  • For easiest setup at home and away games, the camera can mount on a tripod or our specially designed gooseneck stand.
  • We also offer a desk mount attachment allowing the camera to be set up at the scorer's table or press area.
  • For a more permanent position, the camera can be attached to a gym wall.

We are currently working to complete the design and begin a limited production run of these cameras, slated to be delivered in September 2023.
