Practice Planner

Introduction

The Practice Planner in WatchGameFilm (WGF) is designed to help coaches create structured and organized practice schedules. This feature allows users to plan activities, assign teaching points, and coordinate coaching responsibilities.

Creating a New Practice Plan

1. Navigate to Apps > Practice Plans.
2. Click the + (Add New Practice Plan) button.
3. Enter a name for your practice plan and select a date.
4. Click Save to generate the new plan.
5. Once saved, the full spreadsheet-style editing interface will become available.

Using the Practice Planner

Once a new practice plan is created, you will see the full planning interface:

1. Header Section

At the top of your practice plan, fill in key details:

• Date - Specify the date of the practice.
• Start Time & End Time - Set the practice schedule.
• Objective or Goal - Outline the main focus of the practice session.
• Things to Bring - List any necessary equipment or items.

2. Practice Plan Table

Below the header section, you can structure your practice using a tabular format:

• Time - Indicate the scheduled time for each activity.
• Activity Name - Name of the drill, workout, or session.
• Teaching Points - Key focus areas or instructions for the activity.
• Group or Coach - Assign specific coaches or groups responsible for each session.

Editing and Formatting

• You can edit cells directly by clicking on them and entering text.
• Use the formatting toolbar to change text styles, add colors, and apply formatting for better organization.
• Additional spreadsheet functions such as inserting rows/columns, using formulas, and sorting data are available for advanced customization.

Saving and Managing Practice Plans

• Click the checkmark button in the top right to save changes.
• Use the calendar navigation to browse through different practice plans by date.
• Delete or modify existing practice plans using the available toolbar options.

Additional Notes

• All practice plans are stored within the system and can be accessed at any time.
• Coaches can share plans with their teams for better coordination.
• Plans can be duplicated for recurring practice schedules.
